Apolin Collection Winner of the Good Design 2024 Award!

During the ceremonial gala of the Good Design competition, which took place on November 6 at the headquarters of the competition - the Institute of Industrial Design in Warsaw, the Apolin collection of lamps designed by Grynasz Studio received the main award and the Good Design 2024 mark in the Home / Lighting category.

The jury of the competition, consisting of Michalina Pietrzyk, Hanna Wróblewska, Daniel Kraszewski, Michal Bonikowski, Nikolai Wierszyłłowski, Prof. Jerzy Porębski, Prof. Grzegorz Niwinski, Prof. Dr Hab. Marek Adamczewski, Edyta Demby-Siwek, Tomasz Pągowski, Izabela Banaś, Kamil Kowalski, Agnieszka Stefańska, Katarzyna Księżopolska, awarded us this prize "For a diverse collection of lighting that brings the achievements of previous generations to today's users in a fresh way. In this case, the Polish Metal Works MEOS and ZAOS."

About the Good Design competition

The Good Design award, which has been granted for 31 years by the Institute of Industrial Design, is a prestigious award for products that stand out in the market in terms of design and functionality.

The Good Design Seal is awarded taking into account five key aspects: visual features, which emphasize the aesthetics and attractiveness of the product; functional features, providing comfort and ease of daily use; economic features, which evaluate cost-effectiveness and cost efficiency; ecology, indicating sustainability and environmental impact; and innovation. As a result, the award not only promotes high-quality design, but also supports the idea of a responsible approach to design and production.

All the awarded products can be viewed until December 3 as part of the post-competition exhibition in the im. Wanda Telakowska at the IWP's headquarters in Warsaw, every day at. 11-19. Admission to the exhibition is free.
