The genesis of the Disc collection of minimalist plafonds

The Disc collection of plafonds was inspired by the popular thought of German architect, master of minimalism and director of the Bauhaus academy, Ludwig Mies van der Rohe - "less is more," or "less is more.". This legendary recipe for a minimalist style interior refers primarily to the economy of forms, which, with a minimum of material, are supposed to convey the maximum amount of content.

Disc plafonds, however, not only have a very streamlined form and a the circular shape loved by minimalists, but they were also made of the materials they love - metal and glass. Available in black and white, they have a very wide range of applications, and thanks to innovative LED panels, these lamps also offer high quality lighting.

Design and manufacture of Disco ceiling lamp collection

The collection of Disc plafonds consists of round ceiling lamps available in three sizes and two finish colors. Plafonds, with a lampshade diameter of 25, 35 or 45 cm, are available in elegant black and timeless white, and their design is based on a combination of glass and metal.

The outdoor luminaire of the Disc plafonds consists of a sturdy 7 cm high powder-coated metal rim and a milky glass cover, enclosing the plafond from below. Inside the frame was an lED panel, giving an exceptionally strong and warm light. At the same time, the proper arrangement of LEDs makes this light evenly dispersed, with no points of light visible from below.

Plafonds Disc are perfect for the role of the main lighting in small and larger rooms - living rooms, kitchens, in the hall, dressing room and corridor, and their round, geometric shape and simple form make them look best in interiors minimalist and modern style, providing a background and complementary arrangement rather than competing with other furnishings.
