The collection of pendant lamps and wall lamps Longis Chrome iis inspired by the design of the 1950s. These are also projects that combine a love of glass and glass forms with an admiration for modern industrial style. Following these inspirations, we replaced steel fixtures and fabric lampshades with carefully shaped glass lampshades, the shapes of which, on the one hand, refer to times long gone, and on the other hand, will fit perfectly into contemporary interiors.

Four available versions of Longis Chrome lampshades combined with stylized bulbs with decorative filament and chrome finish, will delight both lovers of lofts and interiors in a minimalist or modern style. Made of transparent glass, the shades not only distribute light perfectly, but also reflect the sun's rays, decorating interiors with luminous reflections also during the daytime.

Design and construction of the Longis Chrome collection

The collection of pendant lamps and wall lamps Longis is based on four stylized versions of the lampshade, made of transparent glass. Elements of the lamps such as cover plates and bulb holders have a glossy chrome finish, which perfectly harmonizes with their industrial character.
The collection includes four types of single pendant lamps (Longis I, Longis II, Longis III, Longis IV), wall lamps on stylized cantilevers also available in four versions (with each shade) and groups of pendant lamps mounted on silver strips or ceiling plates.

The design, inspired by industrial interiors, could not be complete without the right suspension. Longis chrome single pendant lamps are equipped with textile braided cables, available in many colors. Thus, you can choose a suspension that melts with the background or, on the contrary, contrasts with it.

Wall lamps included in the collection have an elegant mount together with a stylized extension arm, while the ceiling plates and strips that allow the suspension of Longis pendant lamps - consisting of 3, 4 or even 5 shades depending on the version - have a minimalist, simple design. The collection also includes a pendant lamp with the much-talked-about name Spider, which allows almost any arrangement of 7 (or more) shades within one lamp. The effect resembles a spider web stretched across the ceiling - hence the name of the project.

The length of the wires of the Longis lamps can be freely adjustedć, and lovers of industrial style are encouraged to mix lampshades from the collection and arrange them boldly in groups. In this way, these lamps will shine even brighter, which will emphasize the beauty of the pure glass forms.
