Apolin wins another award! Must have 2025 for our lamp

We are extremely proud and delighted to announce that our Apolin lamp collection has been awarded the title of Must have 2025 – jone of the most important awards in the world of Polish design. For us, it is more than just a "statuette". It is confirmation that emotions, history and respect for Polish design are of exceptional importance today.
A story that shines
Apolin is a project inspired by a lamp from the 1950s, designed by Apolinary Gałecki. This iconic model, commonly known as "Piesek" (Dog), was light, characterful and remarkably expressive. It was this form – unconventional and dynamic – that became the starting point for creating a modern interpretation.
This is how Apolin was born – a lamp that draws on history but speaks a new language. Its name is a tribute to Apolinary Gałecki. Behind the form of Apolin stands Grynasz Studio – Marta Niemywska-Grynasz and Dawid Grynaszwho created a design full of simplicity, but also emotion. Together with the Bochiński Foundation, we have given voice to the past in this collection, filtered through contemporary sensibilities.

What is it Must have?
Must have is not just an award – it is a mark of quality and a recommendation for the best Polish design. This project was created as part of the Łódź Design Festival, which for years has been promoting creators and brands for whom aesthetics go hand in hand with functionality and accessibility..
Jury must have – composed of independent industry experts: designers, architects, design critics and journalists – selects products that:
- meet the needs of modern users
- stand out for their quality of workmanship and form
- are manufactured in Poland and available on the market
This is precisely why Must Have is so unique – it rewards designs that are truly present in our everyday lives. These are not conceptual visions, but products that you can touch, buy and... love.
For us, the Must Have award is a huge honour – because it shows that Apolin not only impresses with its form, but is also important here and now..
Another chapter in a beautiful story
Apolin had previously won awards Dobry Wzór 2024 oraz UP! Awards from the weekly magazine Wprost, and also became part of the permanent collection Polish Design Gallery at the National Museum in Warsaw. Now Must have! joins this group.
Each of these awards motivates us to continue designing with heart, awareness and passion. But the greatest reward for us is that Apolin brightens up your interiors and becomes part of your everyday life..
Thank you for being with us. It is thanks to you that this story continues to shine..
